Sapporo's first international luxury hotel, InterContinental Sapporo occupies floors nine to fourteen of the Lilac Square complex near Nakajima Park. The 149 rooms—including 13 suites—are complemented by a 65-foot indoor heated pool with city views and the top-floor Club InterContinental lounge offering private check-in and evening refreshments. This opening marks IHG's expansion of the InterContinental brand to Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost island.
