Perched on Phou Vao hill above Luang Prabang's UNESCO World Heritage old town, this storied 41-room boutique resort is joining Marriott's Luxury Collection brand in October 2026. Guestrooms and suites feature traditional Lao craftsmanship with private balconies overlooking golden temples and the Mekong River. Facilities include a pool, spa, outdoor yoga deck, fitness centre, and two meeting rooms. La Brasserie de la Résidence serves French bistro and Lao cuisine within tropical gardens.
